Specializing in scissor and razor cutting for all textures; soft, complimentary coloring techniques including balayage, highlighting, color melting; polished off with modern finishing. Ania’s true passion is listening to her clients with intent.
Ania is co-owner of Oko and has over 17 years of experience cutting, coloring and styling hair. She has trained extensively with R+co as a Global Educator since 2015 and travels to host workshops & educate stylists in salons globally. She has assisted backstage at NYFW since 2018 working with some of the industry’s top editorial stylists such as Garren, James Pecis, & Holly Smith with designers such as Anna Sui, Oscar de la Renta, and Thom Browne.
Her signature look is a “front focused” layered cut with a soft sweeping fringe, face framing and effortless layering complimented by soft, dimensional color. Ania adores cutting curly & wavy hair to embrace your natural texture into the hair of your dreams.

Ambre has been operating as a stylist for ten years and joined the Oko team in 2021. Inspired by the world around her, she finds influence everywhere– from music to nature to cool back alleys. When not cutting hair or developing her craft to increase her expertise, Ambre can be found out on the dance floor or behind the DJ booth at local haunts such as the California Clipper & Empty Bottle.
Starting her professional journey at Trombley Salon, Ambre has since worked at Hotel Venus Salon and Smith and Davis Salon where she has honed her cutting techniques through shape, movement, ergonomics, and inspiration.
Ambre's ethos is that passion, dedication, and continuation to craft are central to exemplary work. Hair is more than something that exists as part of our bodies – but can be beautiful, expressive, functional, and individually specific for each client.

Brad has been doing hair for a real long time. Whether he's wielding the scissor, razor, or clipper, his specialties include short cuts, curly hair, bobs, and razor cutting. Brad was accredited with the "Best Curly Haircut" by Chicago Magazine in 2008. In addition, he enjoys helping people connect their haircuts to their identity.
Brad's color-work is natural, soft and minimal. He strives to achieve the most natural effect and preserve the hair’s integrity.
Brad is co-owner of Oko and is a cosmetic formulator specializing in natural and biodegradable ingredients. When he is not at the shop you can find him enjoying the outdoors, reading a book with his cats, and making music.

With a decade of experience under her belt, Caro began her love affair with beauty at a young age. She had her heart set on her career and completed cosmetology school straight after graduating high school. A Chicago suburbs native, Caro has years of experience not only working behind the chair as a busy and talented stylist, but also managing a few bustling barber shops in the northwest suburbs. As a thoughtful and detail oriented individual, Caro has developed a keen eye for identifying your personal style and helping express that with your look. In her personal time, you can find Caro enjoying long bike rides, tending to her extensive house plant collection, and diving into a great book on her porch. She loves to hunt for treasures and thoroughly enjoys a good thrift haul.
Caro specializes in cutting and is a master at working with all lengths and textures, from straight to wavy and is exceptional at curly & coily hair. She is passionate about barbering and grooming, and excels at fades and beard shaping. Her skillset includes creating short, textured pixies, mullets and shags; as well as precision bobs, and soft, long layers.

Her color specialities include creative color placement and she is passionate about double process blondes, vibrant and vivid color transformations.

Kendell White

Hailing from Franklin, TN, Kendell is the newest talent to emerge from our apprentice program. After becoming licensed in 2024, she has continuously immersed herself into education to further her skillset. She is a rising stylist with a knack for making you feel right at home while transforming her clients through her cutting & styling skills. In her free time, you can find Kendell out on an adventure, catching a local show, or enjoying playtime with her micro kitty, Junebug.
Whether it's enhancing your curls & waves, a textured "mod" cut, or bouncy, voluminous layers- Kendell carefully crafts a custom look for each guest with shears in hand. Her confidence transcends with the razor as she artfully creates shaggy shapes, lived-in bobs, or sculpts that perfect pixie. She excels at shaping bangs & face framing to hit just right.
