Oko Salon was established in 2020 by co-owners Ania Lisikiewicz and Brad Hough. The vision of Oko Salon was brought to life as a salon space where hair artists and people of all kinds could come together to collaborate on expressing their personal style.

Oko means eye in Polish, co-owner Ania’s native language. As hairdressers and visual artists, we often refer to our eye as our strongest tool. We use our eyes to perceive, to observe and to focus in on who you are as a person and how that can be best represented through your hair.

We’re an intimate, five chair boutique salon that keeps it small to ensure your experience in the studio is relaxed and personal from start to finish.

Inspired by iconic vintage references, editorial fashion looks, and current street style, we create unique shapes and beautiful colors that are hand-tailored for each client. We feature high performing, ingredient-conscious, luxury products, whether you leave the salon with a more natural hand style or iron-polished look.

We are proud of our culture and thrilled to be working together with an incredible team in a professional, yet welcoming environment that celebrates our individuality.

Our expertly trained, talented stylists have years, (some of us decades) of experience working in Chicago salons, with continuing education driving our passion behind the chair. We are dedicated to the ever-changing craft of hairdressing and continue to sharpen our skills for ourselves and to best serve our clients.
